Start TikTok live streaming from Upstream with a TikTok Zenstream stream key

The TikTok stream key has been designed to be universal and works with all live streaming tools. However, depending on the streaming software you use, the TikTok stream key and RTMP url may be set up differently.

In this article, we’ll look at how to generate and use the TikTok Zenstream stream key with Upstream.

I log in or connect to my Upstream account

I create an account or connect to the Upstream site. Once connected, I choose “other” RTMP

Generating and retrieving the TikTok stream key on Zenstream

In another tab, I generate my tiktok key with the Zenstream generator.

First, click on https://tikapi.io/account/authorize?client_id=c_JM0M63J0UO&redirect_uri=https://tiktok-key-generator.zenstream.link/generator&scope=view_profile+live

Scan the QRCODE via your cell phone and the TikTok account with which you’ll be launching lives:

Scan the QRCODE and validate each step.

Return to your computer and validate the Zenstream account connection request:

You’ll be taken to the TikTok streaming key generator login page.

Use your login details to access the TikTok stream key generator page.

If you don’t have access, contact kevin@zenstream.link (or pay your subscription FIRST: https://tiktok-key-generator.zenstream.link/#payer).

There you’ll have two options for generating a TikTok stream key

1. It’s your first time using Zenstream, so click on the first button to ask us for your AUTHCODE. You’ll need it to launch the stream.

• You already have your AUTHCODE. Enter it in the first field

Define a title for your live stream

Finally, click on “GENERATE KEY”.

• If all the information entered is correct, you’ll get the RTMP link and the TikTok stream key.

I get the Stream URL by pressing copy

I paste the stream key

I check the parameters of the live, including its name, and launch it.

And then you can start your live as usual!

My live stream on TikTok and Upstream has stopped. How do I restart it?

Your live stream has stopped? How can I restart my stream once it’s stopped?

I go to my streams list and click on “settings”.

Then I click on “update your stream key” to replace the old key.

I go to the Zenstream generator and generate a new TikTok stream key.

I keep the same RTMP url, but change the TikTok stream key

I save and relaunch my live stream on upstream: it will automatically relaunch on TikTok Live too.
